After our trip last year to Gelsenkirchen to visit the VELTINS Arena, we returned to Oberhausen yesterday, June 18, 2026. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate any late registrations from our team because the organizer closed registration once the race was fully booked with 4,500 running enthusiasts. The atmosphere was fantastic, even though the summer heat really put the participants through their paces.
In the team standings, Team gefeba finished in a very strong 13th place out of a total of 498 teams. An outstanding achievement to which every single member contributed!
We were especially pleased to have the support of a VEGA colleague who, this year, swapped the colors of our partner VEGA for those of gefeba and joined our team. A great example of true collaboration!
We can look back on an all-around successful event, marked by a great deal of dedication, teamwork, and athletic energy.
